After the War...
I stepped off the small plane and waved goodbye to the young woman as she wiped away the last of her tears. I searched the crowd surrounding the runway for my father. I spotted him, with his brown eyes and stern brows. I grabbed my small suitcase and started to run towards him, the tears started again. I collided with him and we wrapped our arms around each other. I felt my two younger brothers wrap their arms around us too, we were together again, a family. I had not been forgotten after all these years, I never wanted this moment to end.
Then, shots rang out, the army marched towards us with their guns aiming at our heads. The war, wasn’t over…
