Resolution for Society's Institution
October 3, 2018
Society tries to conform us to one another.
Pushing us to be alike
Through movies and media.
Teaching us how to act and dress
And judging if we disobey.
This, this is what I have to say,
If we all just
STOP!
Stop following the norms
And stop trying to conform,
Maybe, just maybe
Everyone will be ecstatic.
Happy with ourselves
And with everyone around us.
Delighted with the change
Because this type of happiness
Shouldn’t be so strange.
