POETRY - A CORUSCATING ART
Poetry is a coruscating art,
With no ends but a small start.
All you require is a huge heart,
With strong emotions as an integral part.
Within itself it has a healing power,
And to create one, there is no specified hour.
Some use it as a weapon to change the society,
And combat the system so mighty.
The human mind is a vast room,
Where uncanny thoughts every now and then boom.
To present these thoughts, poetry is a form,
Which takes the readers by a storm.
Some use it to add feathers to nature,
To delineate the universe and its features.
Huge effort is put behind each word,
So the writers thoughts and feelings can be heard.
Poetry is vast,
Some amaze, some please and some bring aghast,
But the sole purpose is spreading peace,
And put barbarous acts to cease.
