Before I Have School At 7:30
At 6:20 my alarm decides to talk
The cat is alarmed by the loud sound that I ignore
My head rises up from the pillow, that absorbed my dreams and thoughts
I wanted nothing more than 5 minutes of sleep
At 6:25 I’m in the bathroom
The bags underneath my eyes scream the lack of sleep
But my teeth are brushed and my hair is sleek
I wanted nothing more than 5 minutes of sleep
At 6:30 I grab my purple makeup box
I tell my face to wake up and soak up my makeup
The cat circles me and tells me to go back to sleep
I wanted nothing more than 5 minutes of sleep
At 6:40 I drowsed into the clothes that I laid out the night before
I grab my purple backpack and my coat
The cat tells me goodbye as I walk out my bedroom door
I wanted nothing more than 5 minutes of sleep
At 6:50 I’m in the kitchen half-asleep
I need nothing more than a cup of coffee
I should cheer up as I walk out of the house
But I wanted nothing more than 5 minutes of sleep
