I think Modern Warfare Three is one of the best games out there. One of the reasons it's my favorite game is because the graphics are amazing and the gameplay is awesome.  I will be talking about how the game graphics are top-notch, how the gameplay is structured, how the game should not be shown to smaller children, and finally, I will provide a brief view of how to play Modern Warfare Three.

In 1958 the first video game was created called “Tennis for Two”1. This revolutionary video game had very basic graphics that consisted of 2 lines and a dot that represented the tennis ball.  The graphics in Modern Warfare Three are non-comparable because they are realistic, far beyond two simple lines and a dot. The graphics look like they came out of a movie. Another thing is the graphics illustrate the details of the weapons used throughout the game. The characters in Modern Warfare Three are very lifelike and could be compared to actors in a movie. One downfall to the phenomenal graphics is that it requires high-speed internet to keep up with each frame. If your internet lags or does not have enough download speeds the graphics become blurry.

Modern Warfare Three is an online format for playing with other individuals. Players have the option to be mic’d up to allow communication throughout the game. This format of playing allows the risk of a toxic environment. Censoring the language by other game players is not an option unless the gamer mutes them all together.  The game is complete and players may struggle to understand how to play the game right off the bat. If a gamer has played Modern Warfare Two all the progress that the gamer has saved will transfer over to the newer version of Modern Warfare Three. 

The reason the game has a rating of MA-17 and should not be played by smaller children is because there is a lot of gore, intense language, and fierce violence. The main reason I think smaller children should not play the game is because of all the violence and the risk of a bad environment from strangers. Modern Warfare Three has a setting where the gamer can change their name for privacy and those names can be funny or weird. The user names are chosen by the players and can have inappropriate language in them that smaller children should not be exposed to.

Modern Warfare Three is structured in three different gameplay modes.  The first is the Campaign, which is the storyline of the game. The campaign in this game is pretty good and has amazing gameplay. There are seven people the gamer can be in the game, some are more well known than others like Simon “Ghost” Riley is one of the main characters and is one of my personal favorites. There are fifteen missions in the game and some of them can be hard to beat. But the gamer has to be skilled or good to finish the fifteen missions. Campaign mode is not the only option for gameplay; the gamer can enter the mode called Warzone. It's a battle royal game and the point is to get the gamer’s team to kill everyone else that is in the way. Finally, there is Resurgence which is under warzone but it's a game mode in which the gamer doesn't have to get bought back unless at the end there is a timer that the game gives the player that dies, and the player that is left have to stay alive for that long without dying. 

If there are any gamers out there who enjoy video games that have amazing graphics, and solid gameplay and connect people to other players around the world then you should try Modern Warfare Three. This video game has enjoyable concepts but does come with risk because it is connected to players around the globe and there are limited resources to censor them. Overall I enjoy playing Modern Warfare Three and recommend this game to other individuals who are not young children.
