Everyone has hope at some point in their lives

It’s what keeps us from giving up

Our hope can be to master something

To believe in a certain religion

To strive to be someone people are proud of

When we don’t have hope

When we have lost it all

We give up the things we love

We give up on life in general

It’s the hope of the hopeless

When we are hopeless

We want to get better

But we’re dragged down by that

Horrible hot hopelessness

That drains our positive vibes away

“Nothing will get better,” we think

But it will because hope is always with us

We just need to find it and use it

It could be hidden in the back of our head

In the specks from our eyes

Where we wouldn’t think we would find it

Where do we get the horrible feeling from?
