Rock Hard
Rock Hard
I asked the stone, “Why are you hard?”
“Because I’m afraid of emotions,
showing my real side,” he replied
“I’m afraid of being hurt again.
But then people like you come
and hurl me at others,
hoping to cause damage and pain.
My hardness is used against me
and yet I just can’t change who I am.”
