New friends like new drugs
New friends like new drugs don’t come around often now,
and my ADD needs constant appeasement. I like you.
And old friends are still there, I get through my life.
But new friends cause new highs. Come on, let’s go.
—My new friend best friend (don’t care)—

and (I guess) I have a new friend. He’s nice.
He says things differently than my old friends
and it is all new to me …
His high will slowly, surely, begin to fade.
But what am I to do?
