The happy sun shines yellow

A lovely summer memory

Sitting in the summer sun eating jello

 

Somebody passes by with a smile that shines pretty

A perky wave greeting hello

Out the mouth words flee

“Oh boy sure don’t miss the snow”

 

Sitting inside snuggling and getting cozy

Waiting for the screaming whistle of coco

Or even a refreshing piping hot tea

The summer sun is mellow

No one trapped inside waiting to be free

Somebody walks by with hair blonde and wavy

They walk with beauty from head to toe

Stripped in black like a bee

Walking like their life is a musical
