To Learn it All
We try to learn all
The secrets of life
From its beginning to close.
The words left unsaid
The books left unread
How seed to a blossom it grows.
But how can we learn
The whispers of wind?
Or how water felt as it froze?
How sunflowers rise,
How it feels in the skies,
The eagle, the sparrow, the crows?
We’ve got things to learn,
And we’ll keep messing up,
But that’s just how life goes.
We need to admit
That there are those things
That only heaven knows.
