Everytime my mind
goes to your memories...
My heart gets chained
in your glorified stories....
Every nook and corner
remembers you as vanish....
Everytime I cry out
when you leave me in a
state of panic.....
You left me alone
in this dark....
In this haunted place
your voice resonates
like that of a lark.....
But whenever I reach for you...
I'm greeted by an emptiness...
The void left by you
has turned me into a distressing mess...
I wonder what
you would say....
After witnessing me
in this horrifying state....
Reality crashes upon me
in such a harsh way.....
That you aren't with me
Now when I'm astray....

This poem is meant to envoke a deep sense of remorse on the loss of someone.
This loss can be both the death of someone or just losing someone in a relationship. It isn't meant in a romantic way but at the end the interpretation depends totally on the reader.
Also the word astray may also mean going down the wrong (dark) path or simply losing sanity after the loss of someone beloved.
