Love and Lost Drabble
Sweet seductress,
Whisper to me softly,
Let me feel how much you care.
Look only at me,
Let me see those loving hazel eyes.
Touch my face with soft hands,
Empower my senses,
Be the only one to catch my gaze.
Seductive woman,
Take me over, for I am yours.
Invade my mind,
Using your weapon, full red lips,
Kiss me teasingly.
Make my sight haze with want.
Make me beg for your embrace.
Oh please don't leave me here alone.
Spiteful lady,
Please tell me it is not so,
You are not only mine, as rumors go.
And still I lie here in destructive woe,
Hoping to see your scintillating face.
But, like the rabbit, I've lost the race.
So I'll stay alone and here I'll cry,
And for years on, I'll wonder why.
