The sadness you seek
In this little girl in me
She’s hurt
Living in sorrow
Tears fall from her eyes
She feels so lonely
Sitting alone
Crying to stay alive
The pain shoots up
Though out her body
The scars
The pain
She’s growing older now
The pain has vanished
The sadness you seek
Is no longer living in me
