Running
They all asked her
why she ran so early in the morning-
under a soft periwinkle sky.
Only those who dare bathe in her thoughts
would comprehend
so she need not reply.
She ran in that moment
when the sun was just awakening
and the moon was glimmering
it’s last goodbye.
When the world was still and
the birds did not sing,
she tried so hard to erase her memory.
It was an impossible goal
she ran towards however-
forgetting the pain of a sensitive mind.
So she decided to run from herself-
under a periwinkle sky.
