Tick, tick, tick, drip, drip, drip
The clocks tick as time goes by
I can hear the snowflakes stick
I can hear the neighbor’s baby cry
I can see everything in sight
I can hear the floor creaks
I just notice a world so bright
I can hear every person speak
The howling wind on a stormy night
The sunrays on a beautiful day
Would be a perfect day to listen and write
Just listen to what others have to say
Everyone is waiting to share a word
Everyone is just waiting to be heard
