We smile for the flash
Then turn our backs
Declare our love
But when push comes to shove,
I think you know who is coming first
We're losing ourselves
Just to fit on the shelf
Trying to smile
But after a while,
Dark shadows are all that is left
Wandering and wondering why
we can't answer that simple question: why
If everything is nothing
and nothing is everything
Why and how are we left with this now that we can't do nothing about
