The Big Day
Her hair glistened and all eyes were on her.
Her pearly white smile was on display.
As she floated it all seemed like a blur.
Her father held her and said, “its okay.”
As she reached the alter she felt secure.
He looked at her and he knew what to say.
No matter what she ever did he loved.
The groom looked up and felt like he should pray.
She knew she had not felt like this before.
He knew he would never forget this day.
He understood her down to her small core.
They would love even when their hair was gray.
Do you take her to be your wife and adore.
He looked at her and muttered, “oh okay.”
