Pink Coffee
I wish that I could make all coffee pink
And do away with its dull, dismal hue
Cheer should be spread through this everyday drink
Not the monotony brought by a brew
It should beckon like calm strawberry milk
As its poured into rose tinted tea cups
Flowing from white pots like liquified silk
It brings to mind not life’s downs, but its ups
If caffeine must pass through my glossy lips
I demand it in a becoming shade
Like a ballerina with nimble hips
As opposed to a ragged, worn out maid
I’ll face life with my blush tinged beverage
May it help me gain needed leverage
