The Gem
This meaningless thing you may see no worth
Drains in my hands as if claiming it’s mine
From inside the soil of grand planet Earth
I pour on the gem a glass of pure wine
And I guard this rock, take back to my flight
But the sun shines on it like it’s crying.
Then I pick my head up and think in spite
And I think so hard I might be dying
I go back to the other world and fight
All these good memories have me diving
Time ticks, these sorry nights aren’t as bright
But this sparkling gem will take me through
But to forget these visions, I won’t do
