Achievement
There is a sweet measure to life
From the job done by choice
A moment as sharp as a knife
A time of happy rejoice
A man must choose his path
As a car to a road
He must deal with the aftermath
And he must carry the load
The sweat shall fall upon the ground
Blood may shed in crimson tears
Heavy breathing the only sound
Of a man who struggles through the years
And then the sun shall finally set
Man has seen that his goals are met

I wrote this poem several years ago, and completely forgot why I wrote it. But it makes me smile to see it again. I hope you enjoy it, at least a little.
