Insecurities are Loved
I looked at myself in the mirror.
What did I see reflecting back?
My insecurities became so much more clearer.
I thought I saw the mirror crack.
My skin,
Was covered in bumps and scars.
I did not grin,
For I was the ugliest by far.
What I had in my heart,
Seemed like it came out of a sweet story book.
But it was the one part,
Where no one cared to look.
But he loved me,
For who I chose to be.
