Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom
The book Tuesday s with Morrie is about a young man named Mitch Albom who goes back to visit his old college professor, Morrie, when he finds out Morrie is dying from ASL. ASL is a disease that is 100% fatal for whoever gets it; the body just shuts down one organ at a time. When the men reunite, they decide to talk more often and see each other every Tuesday. This book is nonfiction, with all real characters and events.
This book is honestly so motivational and beautiful, and Morrie’s strong, confident personality makes him such an inspiration. The beginning is a little slow, but the story picks right up in the middle. It is sad yet touching, and Morrie’s always positive personality makes this tearjerker worth reading. It is so sweet, the closeness between the two is amazing, and I never knew a connection between a student and teacher could be so strong. I highly recommend this book to other people and my rating is a 10/10.
